Walking tour through the town of Tarifa to learn about its history and the permanent relationship with its fishing activity, both for bluefin tuna and other species such as Boraz de la Pinta, Snapper or the tasty Bocinegro.

The history of the city through its white streets and imposing fortresses. The defence of Guzmán the Good against the Muslim entry into the Iberian Peninsula, the reconquest of Sancho IV and the period of the French stay at the hands of Napoleonic troops.

The route through the white streets of Tarifa, facing the stony walls of the city’s various churches and constantly lined with local fashion shops, leads us to discover its food market, the Alameda and the entrance to the port with the impressive view of the Strait of Gibraltar and Africa in the background.

The route then leads us to the Fish Market, where we can watch the arrival of the daily catches and observe the different species.
