The Fishing Tourism activity is based on the observation of a day of professional fishing for bluefin tuna from Tarifa (Atún Rojo Rojo) and the fishermen are kept carrying out their professional work. Fishing and catching is the main job of the seamen and personnel on board. Under no circumstances is fishing allowed for guests.
In order to provide safety and the correct development of the activity, the participants of the activity undertake to comply at all times with the following safety conditions and basic requirements for participation:
Pescaturismo is an activity aimed at adults. Children under 16 years of age are not allowed to participate in the activity. Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for them at all times.
Participants should bring suitable and comfortable clothing for a day at sea. At least one warm waterproof garment, rubber-soled footwear that covers the whole foot, a cap with a visor or hat and a change of clothes should be provided, as well as sun protection cream to be applied at the start of the activity and a spare to be worn throughout the day.
It is strictly forbidden to embark while intoxicated or under the influence of any narcotic substance.
If you are prone to seasickness, it is advisable to take medication to prevent it before embarking.
At the time of booking you must inform us if you suffer from any illness or condition that may alter the development of the activity (allergies of any kind, pregnancy, physical, psychological or sensory impairments, etc.).
Because of the nature of the fishing activity, boarding times shall be scrupulously respected. Participants who are not at the agreed meeting place and time will not be attended. In case of late arrival or no-show, no refund will be given.
The instructions of the skipper or the person in charge of safety on board shall be strictly followed:
Use of lifejackets and abandon ship cases
Restricted spaces and tasks during manoeuvring and navigation
Mobility and handling of fish and all aspects affecting the safety of fish tourism participants.
El patrón del barco tiene derecho a cancelar la actividad en el momento de la reunión con los participantes debido al mal tiempo o a condiciones adversas. In this case, 100% of the cost of the activity will be paid to the participants or the client will be rescheduled for another day.
In case of change or cancellation by the participants, refunds will only be made up to 24h. prior to the activity.
The vessel will not return to port until the fishing day is over. The activity will only be modified for weather or safety reasons, at the skipper’s discretion.
The shipowner reserves the right of admission and cannot be held responsible for loss or breakage of personal belongings.
All activities are covered by civil liability insurance.
Participating in this Pescaturismo activity means the acceptance of each and every one of the clauses contained herein.
